Established in 2006 in New York and newly relocated to Philadelphia, Interactive Sound is an award-winning, full-service audio production and post-production company facilitating film, TV, Internet, advertising, and music industries.
We create, develop, and manage the audio production process for visual media. Services include location recording and sound mixing, VO/ADR recording, sound design, sound editing, and final audio mixing and mastering for film, TV, music scoring, recording, production, mixing, and mastering.
Spanning major networks to independent artists, Interactive sound has worked for Discovery, HBO, NBC-Universal, Geena Davis, Mike Stern, Turner Classic Movies, Leni Stern Trio, SM Entertainment, Nickelodeon, Jang Nara, MTV, IFC, Will Lee, Sundance, CCTV, High-Low Duo, Meg Berry.

Glenn Ianaro
Glenn Ianaro makes a sound. Lots of sound. Across the Film, Television, Advertising, and Music industries, Glenn has helped content creators reach their highest potential by crafting soundtracks that powerfully deliver the artists’ vision to the audience. His ability to communicate deep meaning to the listener using sound has positioned him as a highly sought-after re-recording mixer and sound designer, with hundreds of hours of content with millions of views and listens. Graduating from Berklee College of Music in 2001 in the Music Synthesis program, he was deeply involved in bridging the gap between technology and music. He developed customized audio looping software and was awarded the Max Mathews Award for Realtime Music Technology. Glenn focused his abilities on production, moving to New York to work in some of the world's great recording studios like Power Station and QUAD. He has worked across multiple genres of music and media, from indie to major label in both domestic and international markets, being a pioneer in the globalization of K-Pop production and tapping into the Chinese film industry.
Zhuoying Zhang
Going by the name Helian for work, Zhang graduated from Temple University in 2016 with a MFA degree in Film and Media Arts, and has gained holistic training and extensive work experience in film and media industries through years, with emphasis in location audio engineering, producing and directing. She is a professional with rich knowledge, technical expertise and strong problem solving abilities who can contribute vastly and versatilely to departments of creative, production, audio and post-production, an artist with tuned tastes and vibrant passion towards the sophisticated crafts of capturing and delivering the sound and image. Zhuoying joined Interactive Sound in late 2020 as a location audio engineer and Producer for Video/Audio Content and Development.
